Systems Security Engineer – Night Shift
This role supports the Chief Security Officer’s office in ensuring top-tier information security and data protection for the firm. Reporting to the Security Operations Manager, the Systems Security Engineer monitors, investigates, and enhances security across networked systems, cloud environments, and SaaS technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security tools (firewalls, SIEM, endpoint detection, DLP, email gateways, etc.)
- Investigate suspicious activity and report findings
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response
- Develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) and create security rules
- Audit security systems, apply patches, and improve system efficiency
- Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend security improvements
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong background in information/network security, automation, and incident response
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with security tools and scripting
