Job description
We are seeking a technically proficient individual with substantial hands-on experience in managing diverse operating systems, network engineering, or forensic analysis. 2 days per week in Utrecht are essential requirements.
Key responsibilities for this role include:

Security Infrastructure Design and Management:
- Design, monitor, and maintain the security of all (cloud) network resources, computer systems, company data, software applications, and telecommunications.

Incident Response:
- Manage security incidents reported by employees or our external SOC, from initial validation through to remediation.

Policy Implementation:
- Assist regional IT managers with the implementation of information security policies and procedures.

Security Assessments:
- Conduct regular security assessments and coordinate third-party assessments as required.

Network Security:
- Take charge of the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of firewalls, VPNs, IPS, and other related security technologies.

Vulnerability Management:
- Oversee the Vulnerability Management process, ensuring the verification of security controls, including security patching and anti-virus measures.

Technology Proficiency:
- Continuously learn and enhance skills in various technology stacks utilized .
Given our dynamic scale-up environment, this role is flexible and may encompass additional responsibilities such as risk assessments, audits, business continuity/disaster recovery, etc.
Our core technology stack includes:
- Microsoft Defender suite (CASB, O365, Endpoint/Server Plan 2 = EDR, Identity, etc.).
- Fortinet.
- Cloudflare.
- OnDMARC/Inbox.
- Intune/MEM.
The ideal candidate should possess familiarity with managing these tools or equivalent products from other vendors.
