Technical Expert – Physical Security & Cybersecurity

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Technical Expert with advanced expertise in both physical security and cybersecurity to lead, design, manage, and supervise complex security projects. The expert will operate with full autonomy and ensure that systems and infrastructures meet high operational, regulatory, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage security and IT systems projects, including design, deployment, and maintenance (CCTV, access control, fire detection, VMS/NAS).
  • Conduct security risk assessments and define technical specifications for procurement activities.
  • Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with project requirements, timeline, quality, and budget.
  • Perform SOC activities: SIEM installation, configuration, tuning, monitoring, and incident handling.
  • Analyse network security including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Implement and optimise monitoring and detection rules (STIX, TAXII, Snort, FireEye).
  • Provide cybersecurity and physical security consultancy.
  • Prepare technical documentation including feasibility studies and quality assurance reports.
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions on cyber hygiene and security solutions.

Required Competencies

  • Expert knowledge of CCTV, access control, fire detection, and other security technologies.
  • Leadership in cybersecurity operations, including SIEM optimisation and incident response.
  • Advanced ability to analyse logs across multiple environments (Oracle, Apache, WebLogic, IDS, firewalls, proxies).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and advanced security technologies.
  • Project and team leadership experience with proven delivery capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical issues to diverse audiences.
  • Strong mentoring and knowledge?transfer abilities.

Working Conditions

On-site presence required three days per week. Standard working hours apply with occasional exceptions.
