Job description

Our partner is undergoing immense growth due to a Billion Dollar Private Equity investment and they are scaling their Product Management teams as they look to productize the solutions that sits atop their AI-powered platform.

They have world class solutions in MOM, MES, and IIOT, infusing bleeding edge technologies like AI and Machine Learning to help manufacturers create efficiencies at their plants (from labor to energy etc.) while also providing new and expansive analytics for their clients to make more well-informed business-critical decisions.

The Product Managers they want to join this growing Product team will be excited about delivering the long-term vision and strategy for current offerings as well as looking for how to expand their product portfolio.

The PM will handle a great deal of cross functional partnerships, to include taking on the development and maintenance of the company's product roadmap. They will also serve, in essence, as a central hub within the organization for all critical information regarding our products, market, competitors, customers, prospects, critical analysis and many other constituencies.

Essential Functions

  • Analyze market opportunities, understand needs, create product vision, prioritize investments and create roadmap and strategy.

  • Prepare, maintain and evangelize the roadmap of our technology platform, solutions and service offerings. 

  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from prototyping and market testing new features, products, solutions, ideas and planning for the sunset of legacy products.

  • Direct and drive changes to our product, value proposition, pricing and marketing/sales processes to maximize our success and growth based on this understanding.

  • Collaborate with leadership to choose ideal segments, following market analysis, and create distribution channel strategies. 

  • Work directly with the VP of Product and the senior team to set strategies, prioritize investments and execute plans.  

  • Liaise with the finance, marketing, sales, account managers, solution architects, project managers, alliance partners, product development and customer organizations.  

  • Establish and maintain pricing strategies such as SaaS and Subscription pricing models.

  • Create user stories for current and future products based on market needs.


Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management, product marketing, product development, technology services or equitable experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or Business/Marketing  or related

  • Deep understanding of the software and professional services industry, including subscription & cloud-based business models

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and high-growth environment.

  • Experience in driving a market focused approach to product management.

  • Highly proficient in developing executive presentations, strategic ideas and analytics.

  • Excellent relationship skills to interact & build rapport with customers, industry analysts, peers, and cross-functional teams

  • Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information.

  • Experience with agile scrum development and lean principles.
