Job description
We are seeking an innovative, privacy engineer to oversee the strategic research, design and development of privacy preserving technologies within a Fortune 100 tech company.
You will be responsible for leading the design of short and long term strategic roadmaps, aligning data architecture with data governance and privacy-by-design principles at all stages of the SDLC, for software and IOT products that are used in over 180 countries globally. You will also be a key figure within the wider team, leading major pieces of applied research into the potential applications of techniques such as: Anonymization, De-Identification, Cryptography, Differential Privacy and Private-Set Intersection.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of privacy enhancing techniques, including anonymization, differential privacy, or cryptography
- Ability to write production level code in Python and Java
- Proven background developing junior members of staff, with a passion for coaching
- Experience working with data architecture and lifecycle management (data quality, data lineage, data cleansing & data retention)
