Job description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on regulatory matters affecting products and customers.
- Develop compliance mechanisms and identify opportunities for streamlining processes across different regulatory frameworks.
- Provide business-oriented advice throughout the product life cycle, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Strengthen regulatory compliance programs, including identifying relevant frameworks and enhancing infrastructure.
- Advise on potential product use cases in regulated industries such as healthcare and financial services..
- Monitor evolving laws and assist in implementing compliant solutions.
- Draft and maintain consumer-facing policies and documents, including terms and conditions and disclosures.
- Develop regulatory compliance resources and training materials.
- Support Legal and GRC team members on various projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience with a JD or equivalent post-graduate degree.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance processes and program development.
- Experience in conducting compliance assessments and audits across business functions.
- Sharp analytical skills, proactive attitude, and excellent legal and business judgment.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Interest in regulatory considerations in the identity space, including artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.
