Principal Machine Learning Engineer
We are seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of advanced ML solutions. This role involves collaboration with research partners, data engineers, ML engineers, software engineers, and clinical experts to ensure our solutions meet stringent regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support ML engineers, fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain computer vision models for breast cancer risk prediction.
- Enhance ML development and production pipelines.
- Validate models in collaboration with academic and clinical partners.
- Assist with regulatory submissions and compliance efforts.
- Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and generate Intellectual Property materials.
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years of technical leadership in ML engineering with FDA-compliant models.
- 5+ years of ML development experience, ideally in healthcare or medical imaging.
- Expertise in Computer Vision ML models for image analysis, segmentation, classification, and prediction.
- Strong publication record and innovation in ML for medical devices.
- Proficiency in ML technologies: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, AWS, GitLab, Docker, and Python.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with orchestration workflow solutions and SDLC for medical devices.
- 5+ years of experience using C++ and CUDA.
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Master’s or PhD preferred.
