Job description
Role Overview: As a Principal IoT Security Architect, you will be instrumental in integrating security by design across an array of Network and IoT technologies. This is a deeply technical role involving extensive research on both established and upcoming security technologies. You will work collaboratively with product owners, legal teams, and security experts to pioneer security solutions that set industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine technical specifications and algorithms for new products and applications.
- Lead the design and implementation of pivotal research projects, creating prototypes and conducting rigorous studies to underpin product development.
- Engage with various internal and external partners to evaluate solutions, contributing to technical documentation and intellectual property.
- Act as a technical representative in standards bodies, influencing and persuading peers to adopt innovative security practices.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of security technologies and protocols (e.g., TLS/DTLS, OAuth, Zero Knowledge Proof methods).
- Profound understanding of network protocols and architectures (e.g., DNS/mDNS, DHCP, IEEE 802.3).
- Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C++, and familiarity with continuous integration tools.
- Exceptional soft skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
