Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Incident Response Partner Attorney to join our dynamic Privacy & Cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and responding to complex cybersecurity incidents, providing strategic legal counsel, and guiding clients through the incident response lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of privacy laws, data protection regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cybersecurity incident response efforts for clients, including data breaches, ransomware attacks, and other security incidents.
- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients on incident response planning, execution, and post-incident remediation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT, security teams, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities, to ensure a coordinated response.
- Conduct thorough investigations of cybersecurity incidents to determine the scope, impact, and root cause.
- Advise clients on compliance with data breach notification laws, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs on incident response and cybersecurity awareness for clients and internal teams.
- Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and legal developments in the cybersecurity landscape.
- Represent clients in regulatory investigations, litigation, and negotiations related to cybersecurity incidents.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on all matters related to incident response and cybersecurity.
