Job Title: Cybersecurity Class Action Litigation Partner

Position Overview:

An established AmLaw 200 firm is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Class Action Litigation Partner to join their Los Angeles office. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned attorney with a proven track record in cybersecurity litigation, particularly in class action cases, to play a key role in the firm's growing Cybersecurity and Privacy practice. The ideal candidate will have a substantial portable book of business and a strong desire to lead and expand the practice in collaboration with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex cybersecurity class action litigation, including data breach cases, privacy violations, and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies, providing high-level legal advice to clients across various industries.
  • Collaborate with the firm’s Cybersecurity and Privacy team to further develop the practice, leveraging the firm’s resources and client base.
  • Maintain and grow a portable book of business with a minimum of $675k in annual revenue.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys, fostering their professional development.
  • Engage in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm’s presence in the cybersecurity litigation space.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and legal developments in cybersecurity and privacy law.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the California Bar.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity litigation, with a focus on class action cases.
  • Proven ability to manage complex litigation and lead a team of attorneys.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, with a portable book of business of at least $675k.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with other partners and practice groups within the firm.
