Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Privacy and Cybersecurity Advisory Partner Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of privacy and cybersecurity laws, and will provide expert legal counsel to our clients on compliance, risk management, and strategic planning. This role requires a seasoned attorney with a strong track record in advisory services and a commitment to staying at the forefront of legal developments in privacy and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on privacy and cybersecurity matters, including data protection, compliance, and risk management.
- Assist clients in developing and implementing robust privacy policies, cybersecurity strategies, and incident response plans.
- Advise clients on compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other global data protection frameworks.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments, data mapping, and gap analyses to identify and mitigate privacy and security risks.
- Collaborate with clients’ internal teams, including IT, security, and compliance, to ensure alignment and integration of legal requirements.
- Represent clients in regulatory investigations, audits, and enforcement actions related to privacy and cybersecurity issues.
- Stay informed of emerging trends, legal developments, and technological advancements in the field of privacy and cybersecurity.
- Develop and deliver training programs and workshops on privacy and cybersecurity best practices for clients and internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the firm's Privacy & Cybersecurity practice through thought leadership, business development, and mentoring junior attorneys.
