Compensation: $140,000 - $185,000, commensurate with experience
Job Description:
My client, a prestigious Global 200 law firm, is seeking a motivated and talented General Litigation Associate to join our Los Angeles office. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation matters across a variety of practice areas while collaborating with a dynamic team of legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all phases of litigation, including case analysis, legal research, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and discovery requests.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
- Maintain client communication and provide updates on case developments.
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar.
- 2-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
