Position Overview:
The firm is seeking a talented and motivated Insurance Coverage Associate to join its San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex insurance coverage matters, including litigation and counseling, and will possess a deep understanding of policy interpretation and coverage analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate complex insurance coverage issues, including commercial general liability, professional liability, D&O, E&O, and other specialty lines.
- Provide strategic counsel and advice to clients on insurance coverage matters, including policy interpretation, risk assessment, and claims management.
- Manage and litigate insurance coverage disputes, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court.
- Work closely with partners, other associates, and clients to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with developments in insurance coverage law.
- Participate in business development efforts, including client presentations and networking events.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in California.
- 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage, preferably with a focus on complex coverage matters and litigation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and communicate risks effectively.
