My client are a leading online retailer in the sports sector, They are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of People to join our growing team. In this permanent leadership role, you'll play a strategic role in developing and implementing our people strategy, fostering a positive and engaging work environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of all HR functions.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the People Operations function, including onboarding, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and HR systems.

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our business goals.

  • Champion a positive company culture built on strong values, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion.

  • Oversee [Company's focus on Sustainability/Social Responsibility] initiatives and ensure our people practices are environmentally and socially responsible.

  • Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on all HR-related matters.

  • Implement and maintain effective HR processes and systems to optimize efficiency and compliance.

  • Proven track record of success in a senior HR leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of all core HR functions (compensation, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations).

  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Passion for building a positive and engaging employee experience.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Proficiency in HR technology and systems.
