The firm is seeking a Global Leader, AI Compute Platform, to drive the evolution of its AI infrastructure. The Role:
In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the transformation of the firm’s AI compute platform, ensuring it can handle the scale and complexity of the firm’s growing data and trading needs. You will work closely with teams across engineering, data science, and trading to build a world-class AI infrastructure that supports high-frequency, low-latency, and high-performance trading strategies.
You will define and execute the vision for a state-of-the-art platform that integrates cloud technologies, hardware accelerators (GPUs, TPUs), and advanced AI techniques. This platform will be critical in enabling the firm to remain at the forefront of AI-driven trading innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy and execution of the AI compute platform transformation to support large-scale, real-time trading.
- Collaborate with engineering, research, and trading teams to ensure the platform meets the firm’s evolving AI and machine learning needs.
- Optimize infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency, leveraging cloud technologies, high-performance computing (HPC), and hardware accelerators.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously integrating emerging technologies such as deep learning, edge computing, and AI hardware.
- Manage relationships with key external partners, cloud providers, and hardware vendors to ensure the firm’s infrastructure is best-in-class.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the global team, driving high-performance across regions.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in building and scaling AI infrastructure, ideally within high-performance environments like finance or tech.
- Strong expertise in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and high-performance computing (HPC).
- Experience with cloud computing, distributed systems, and hardware acceleration technologies (GPUs, TPUs, FPGAs).
- Familiarity with quantitative or algorithmic trading is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
