A leading financial firm are looking for a talented engineer who can rapidly ideate, design, and implement end-to-end web applications for its discretionary businesses. This role is on site in New York City.
Role:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements.
- Design and build innovative applications to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with other technical teams within the firm.
- Make a tangible and direct impact on the business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least four years of industry experience in software development at a startup or technology company.
- Top academic background with significant software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of web languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and/or CSS) and at least one backend language (Python or Java).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop products with clear and intuitive UX/UI.
- Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction for production-level software.
- Prior experience managing and developing junior talent is a plus.
- Impressive candidates with sufficient relevant skills and translatable experience may be considered even if they do not meet all criteria.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual base salary of $200,000 to $300,000.
- Variable compensation, including a year-end bonus
