FPGA Engineer - Quantum Technology
Stott and May are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled FPGA engineer to help advance next-generation technology.
As an FPGA Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing state-of-the-art quantum hardware, from initial proof-of-concept to full-scale production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full product development lifecycle from concept to production.
- Convert system requirements into FPGA implementations, including RTL coding (VHDL/Verilog).
- Design FPGA systems for various applications such as signal processing and data acquisition.
- Develop communication protocols (Ethernet, PCI, USB, UART, SPI, I2C) to interface with external systems.
- Build and test simulations to ensure design functionality and optimize performance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience designing and debugging interfaces.
- Proficiency in signal processing, optimization, and HDL coding (VHDL, Verilog).
- Experience with FPGA design tools (Xilinx Vivado, Vitis)
- Familiarity with tools like JTAG and logic analyzers.
- Competency in embedded software development (C/C++) and simulation tools (QuestaSim, ModelSim).
