About the Role
A fast-moving early-stage startup in the insurance technology space is hiring a Forward-Deployed Engineer to build and deliver systems that enable fast, reliable onboarding for enterprise clients. You’ll work closely with customers to get them live quickly and deliver a great experience from day one.
Mission
Insurance is meant to support people during major life challenges — after loss, illness, or crisis. But legacy systems often delay or complicate claims at the moment people are most vulnerable. This company is rebuilding the claims experience using modern technology and human-centric design to help people receive support quickly, accurately, and compassionately.
This is a high-intensity, high-ownership environment. Expect to work closely together in-office (six days a week) and move with urgency.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with customer stakeholders, from technical staff to leadership
- Build and maintain systems that support critical customer operations and onboarding
- Produce reliable reporting and insights for both customers and internal teams
- Identify product gaps and lead improvements informed by real customer usage
Requirements
- Solid full-stack engineering experience
- Tech stack includes: TypeScript, Next.js, Express, Google Cloud Platform, PostgreSQL, LangChain, Terraform
- Strong communication skills and comfortable interfacing directly with customers
- Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high velocity of execution
