Role Summary
We are supporting a large, international organisation in the Benelux region seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to strengthen an existing team responsible for operating and enhancing a Git-based DevOps platform used across multiple internal and customer-facing environments.
The role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, automation, cloud infrastructure, and operational support, within a mature agile delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Platform & DevOps Engineering
- Develop, maintain, and optimise services related to a Git-based DevOps ecosystem
- Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to platform enhancements through clean, maintainable code
- Design and execute unit and integration tests to ensure safe deployments
Automation & Infrastructure
- Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring workflows
- Support Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives and cloud-native deployments
Operational Support
- Handle operational incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs
- Participate in an on-call rotation covering a full week, including weekends
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and operations teams
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Share knowledge and contribute to team-wide technical standards
Documentation
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for code, tooling, and processes
- Ensure knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability of solutions
Technical Profile (Required)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or platform engineering roles
- Strong experience using Git-based CI/CD tools in production environments
- Proven hands-on expertise with:
- Public cloud services (compute, networking, storage, monitoring, serverless)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- CI/CD automation and DevOps best practices
Additional Assets (Nice to Have)
- Administration of Git-based platforms
- Scripting or development experience (e.g. Python, APIs)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
