Responsibilities:
With a team of product and IT experts, the future position holder will be responsible for further developing Enterprise-IoT-Suite and services to ensure a stable and scalable technological foundation for the strategic development of the group of companies. In addition, the following tasks will be part of your position

  • Together with your team, you develop and extend both our backend infrastructure and software running on embedded linux.
  • Build and maintain LoRaWAN infrastructures in the buildings of our customer by developing customized embedded software and monitoring services.
  • Configure and manage our devices based on embedded Linux.
  • mplement tooling, services and applications on the devices.
  • Drive the development of new products, evaluate new possibilities and make things happen.
  • You will work closely with our product experts and product owners to build the future of smart energy.

Experince
  • At least 8+ years practical experience working as a Infrastructure Engineer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields or comparable education and experience
  • Experience with running large fleet of IoT devices
  • Proficiency in Linux System Administration tooling (preferably in the context of Embedded Linux deployments)
  • Proficiency in development with Python, Golang or similar languages
  • Experience in developing ci/cd pipelines and internal tools and services
  • Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus etc
  • Experience working with AWS
  • Comfortable representing the team in cross-team projects

Nice to have:
  • Background in SRE
  • Experience with AWS IoT Core, LoRaWAN and/or mBUS is a plus
  • Experience with Java (or other JVM based languages like Kotlin)
  • Understanding of GitLab pipelines
