Senior DevOps Engineer

  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Contract Duration: One Year (Possibility of Extension)

Key Qualifications:

  • While a degree in computer science is advantageous, practical experience takes precedence.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and staying abreast of the latest sustainable trends and innovations, particularly focusing on Platform as a Service offerings within Public Cloud environments.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Java (script) and/or Python software projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in the design and development of microservices, preferably within Azure.
  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in event-driven architecture, preferably within Azure.
  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in CI/CD, preferably within Azure DevOps.
  • Minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience in integration and PaaS offerings, preferably within Azure.
  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in technical blueprint creation.
  • Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in Sharepoint and O365 integration, preferably within Azure.
  • Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to suggest alternative solutions and provide recommendations while considering the broader context.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with agile software development processes is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the Angular framework is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in modeling languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with database design and management terminology is beneficial.
  • Understanding of infrastructure-related concepts (IaaS) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of European interoperability is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with existing building blocks and services within the federal government context is a plus.
