Data Governance Architect
London OR Bristol - 2/3 days per week
INSIDE IR35// initial 6 month contract (room for extension)

A leading consultancy committed to excellence and innovation is recruiting for A Data Governance Architect to join their end client, either to be based out of their Bristol OR London office. This company prioritize the utilization of accurate, governed, and standardized data to drive decision-making and enhance their operations.

As the Data Governance Architect you will be responsible for the following:

- Ensuring data cleanliness, ownership, governance, and accuracy throughout the data lifecycle.
- Maintaining and updating record-keeping processes such as Data Dictionaries and ensure they are up-to-date.
- Approving the kite-marking of reporting for adherence to data governance standards.
- Defining key architecture elements including infrastructure sizing, solution architecture, and deployment strategies.
- Collaborating with the infrastructure team for environment setup and resolution of technical issues.
- Actively participating in architecture and design discussions to provide valuable insights.
- Preparing comprehensive solution architectures and technical designs.
- Developing formats for catalogs and lineage to enhance data management.
- Designing workflows for daily operations and stewardship processes.
- Creating and implementing data profiling workflows for improved data insights.
- Mentoring and guiding the team on technical aspects, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in configuring business glossaries, technical data dictionaries, and data lineage.
- Proficiency in managing connection mechanisms with diverse data sources.
- Familiarity with configuring data privacy policies and implementing enforcement mechanisms.
- Expertise in configuring dashboards, KPIs, thresholds, and indices for effective data monitoring.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in data management tools and technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
