Job Role: Contract Support Specialist
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Office Location: South London – 5 days onsite
Salary: up to £36K basic per annum – DOE


Are you detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and a knack for managing contracts? Our established client is looking for a Contract Support Specialist to join their team! In this role, you will provide essential support in the management and administration of contracts, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Finance Sheets: Ensure finance sheets are consistently updated and that all quoted works are processed promptly.
  • Manage Quotes: Raise quotes on the system and accurately record all work order information.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the entire process, from initial quote and acceptance to ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion of the work.
  • Team Support: Provide coverage for the Contract Support Team during periods of training, annual leave, or sickness.
  • Timesheets: Ensure engineer timesheets are posted accurately and on time before the weekly cut-off.
  • Purchase Orders: Raise all necessary purchase orders for reactive and quoted works, supplying detailed POs to subcontractors to facilitate successful work completion.
  • Time Recording: Accurately and promptly record all time on the relevant work order.
  • Debt Management: Actively seek payment for debt through regular communication with customers and provide weekly commentary and actions to the Lead Contract Support.
  • Billing Applications: Prepare monthly billing applications for reactive and quoted works, and review them with the Lead Contract Support before submitting to the client.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Applications and familiarity with contract management software.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role
  • A good basic education is essential, with at least GCSE passes in Math and English or equivalent
