Full Remote

Responsibilities:
With a team of product and IT experts, the future position holder will be responsible for further developing the companys Enterprise-IoT-Suite and services to ensure a stable and scalable technological foundation for the strategic development of the group of companies. In addition, the following tasks will be part of your position
  • Together with your team, you develop and extend both our backend infrastructure and software running on embedded linux.
  • Develop our development, test and production environments, while automating all manual tasks and monitoring our clusters.
  • Ensure a fast rate of product improvement by setting up and optimizing CI/CD processes for the team.
  • Build and maintain LoRaWAN infrastructures in the buildings of our customer by developing customized embedded software and monitoring services.
  • Drive the development of new products, evaluate new possibilities and make things happen. 
  • You will work closely with our product experts and product owners to build the future of smart energy.

Experience 
  • At least 5+ years of experience in development with JVM based languages and 1-2 years cloud experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields or comparable education and experience
  • Hands-on experience with design and implementation on cloud native solutions with emphasis on Network, Identify and Access Management, Programmable infrastructure, Event logging, Resource monitoring and Secret Management
  • Proficiency in Linux System Administration tooling (preferably in the context of Embedded Linux deployments)
  • Comfortable representing the team in cross-team projects
Nice to have:
  • VPN knowledge
  • Experience with AWS IoT Core, LoRaWAN and/or mBUS is a plus
  • Knowledge of APIs, Web Services/Microservices and containers like Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
  • German language skills are a plus
