Client Reporting Analyst
Boutique Asset Management Firm – Central London
£250 per day | Outside IR35 | 6-month rolling contract

Overview
A highly reputable boutique asset management firm based in Central London is seeking a motivated Client Reporting Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior professional with around 1 year of experience in the financial sector to gain broad exposure, work closely with senior leadership, and develop within a high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, production, and delivery of high-quality client reports, including monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting packs.

  • Compile and validate portfolio data, performance metrics, and investment commentary to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Support the creation of templates and reporting frameworks in line with client and regulatory requirements.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders—including portfolio managers, operations, and compliance—to gather data and resolve reporting queries.

  • Ensure timely production of reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the reporting process.

  • Maintain documentation and support audit trails and quality assurance checks.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Approximately 1 year of experience in the financial services sector, ideally within asset management, investment operations, or reporting.

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

  • Competence in Excel (formulas, lookups, data handling).

  • Familiarity with portfolio data, performance concepts, or reporting processes is highly beneficial.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
