Client Reporting Analyst
Boutique Asset Management Firm – Central London
£250 per day | Outside IR35 | 6-month rolling contract
Overview
A highly reputable boutique asset management firm based in Central London is seeking a motivated Client Reporting Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior professional with around 1 year of experience in the financial sector to gain broad exposure, work closely with senior leadership, and develop within a high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation, production, and delivery of high-quality client reports, including monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting packs.

Compile and validate portfolio data, performance metrics, and investment commentary to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Support the creation of templates and reporting frameworks in line with client and regulatory requirements.

Liaise with internal stakeholders—including portfolio managers, operations, and compliance—to gather data and resolve reporting queries.

Ensure timely production of reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the reporting process.

Maintain documentation and support audit trails and quality assurance checks.
Skills & Experience Required

Approximately 1 year of experience in the financial services sector, ideally within asset management, investment operations, or reporting.

Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

Competence in Excel (formulas, lookups, data handling).

Familiarity with portfolio data, performance concepts, or reporting processes is highly beneficial.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
