Business Analyst - Modelling tools
Public Sector
Location: Brussels – Hybrid (mainly teleworking from Brussels)


As a Business Analyst for our Public Sector client, you will:
  • Evaluate and document business needs and requirements.
  • Perform analysis of business models and processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Create models of business processes to streamline operations.
  • Examine functional requirements and develop business case scenarios.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges.
  • Support the development of business cases, vision documents, project charters, and security plans.
  • Test applications and manage acceptance environments.
  • Evaluate the integration of various information systems.
  • Develop data models to support business functions.
  • Prepare software architecture documentation related to workflow application testing.
  • Assist in testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting phases of projects.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience 
  • Solid understanding of information systems and administrative business processes in large organizations.
  • Proficiency in analysis and modeling tools and techniques (such as use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity-relationship models, interaction diagrams, etc.).
  • Knowledge of BPMN, UML, or equivalent methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Wiki and collaborative platforms.
  • Understanding of AGILE methodologies
  • Strong skills in preparing and writing business analyses.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills for high-level discussions.
  • Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture.
  • Experience in designing business workflow applications.

Fluency in English (at least at C1 level).
