Azure Solution Architect / .NET Core
Salary - £80,000 - £85,000 per annum + Bonus + Corporate Benefits
Location – Reading, Berks
We have an exciting opportunity for an Azure Solution Architect to join our growing Solution Design team. The successful applicant will work alongside our UX designers and business consultants to deliver high quality, professional consultancy, and solutions to our clients. The Solution Architect is responsible for planning, designing, and delivering elegant solutions built upon the Microsoft cloud platform.
The Solution Architect engages in the full project lifecycle from presales through to operational handover and is accountable for the technical delivery of projects. The Solution Architect must also be a passionate advocate of innovation with a preference towards using new technology to solve business problems. Based at our Reading office, this role will involve a mix of office and on-site client work with opportunities to work from home
Responsibilities
• Translating business requirements into solution architectures on the Microsoft cloud platform
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for implementation teams, defining standards and practices
• Responsible for the technical readiness, scalability, & quality assurance of final deliverables
• Staying current with the latest innovations with the Microsoft cloud platform Essential Skills &
Experience We would prefer experience with in following
• Excellent understanding of technical concepts required for the implementation, integration and administration of Azure Platform as a Service solutions
• Good understanding of the Azure platform as a whole, the capabilities of each component, and the future roadmap
• Experience of designing solutions using Azure App Services, Azure Function Apps and Azure Logic Apps
• Experience of designing solutions using ASP.NET and .NET Core
• Experience of designing solutions using SQL Azure and/or Cosmos DB
