As an Application Security Consultant, you will conduct technical testing to identify vulnerabilities in clients’ applications.
In this Security Consultant role, you can expect to:

Uncover risks relative to specific client applications and their assets

Scope client environments to assess the level of work required to complete testing

Work with clients to communicate the business impact of vulnerabilities

Handle customer-facing meetings and work with multiple projects simultaneously
To succeed in this Application Security Consultant job, you will need expertise with relevant security testing tools and an understanding of web application security concepts and vulnerabilities, web protocols, cloud environments, and API technologies.
You will also require skills in the following areas:

Scripting or programming languages experience

Web application security testing, mobile application security testing, and thick-client application security testing

IoT security testing, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing
