Solution Architect – Hybrid & Multi-Cloud

Location: Luxembourg (On-site / Remote / Hybrid)
Contract type: Temporary mission – 6 months 
Eligibility: EU citizenship required

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support one of our customers in Luxembourg. The ideal consultant combines strong hands-on technical architecture expertise with excellent communication skills to work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and delivery teams.

You will design, govern, and guide the implementation of enterprise-grade cloud and hybrid solutions across AWS, Azure, OpenShift, and on-premises platforms (VMware / Nutanix). The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and the ability to ensure that solutions remain secure, scalable, and aligned with frameworks such as TOGAF and COBIT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end architectures across AWS, Azure, OpenShift, VMware, and Nutanix.

  • Lead architectural governance, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

  • Translate business and technical requirements into robust solution designs.

  • Define architecture standards, patterns, reference models, and best practices.

  • Support delivery teams on implementation, guiding technical decisions and resolving architectural risks.

  • Lead and participate in technical workshops, roadmap initiatives, and architecture reviews.

  • Ensure alignment with TOGAF, COBIT, enterprise design principles, and security-by-design practices.

Technical Expertise Required

  • Multi-Cloud: Strong experience with AWS and Azure architectures (networking, IAM, landing zones, security baselines).

  • Container Platforms: Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift (clusters, operators, GitOps, RBAC).

  • On-Prem Infrastructure: Solid experience with VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV.

  • DevOps & Automation: Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, and Vault for secrets management.

  • Architecture Governance: Experience with TOGAF, COBIT, C4 modelling, and enterprise architecture documentation.

  • Security: Strong understanding of IAM, encryption, network segmentation, CIS benchmarks, policy enforcement, and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Certifications

  • TOGAF 9/10 Certified

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

  • Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)

  • CKA / CKAD / CKS

  • HashiCorp Terraform Associate

Profile Requirements

  • EU citizenship (mandatory).

  • Fluency in English (spoken & written); additional European languages are an advantage.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to operate across both strategic architecture and hands-on technical design.

  • Prior experience delivering complex hybrid/multi-cloud projects in enterprise environments.
