You will work with client who have never before taken part in design thinking, TDD, paired programming, continuous-release deployment, backlog management, or even interacted with the user they provide software to.
You will teach the WHY behind these practices while staying flexible to your client preferences. Our clients are true partners and we want to enable them not only through our product delivery but also through our training and relating.
You will learn, teach, and change your approach constantly to best collaborate towards a new way of thinking about engineering.
You will pair with the customer’s developers and engineers to teach them how to develop and deliver user stories that provide business value, technical feasibility, and user-driven functionality.
You will be pairing with military service people and other developers to deliver value in real time.
You will be responsible for building and testing software solutions and ensuring the team builds upon what we provide, not only technically but what we can teach through our practices.
3-6 years of Software Development experience
Strong communication skills and interest in a pair programming environment
Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies
Experience with Spring Boot, React.JS, or Redux
Experience with API development
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
You have run software in Linux environments
You have a good understanding of algorithms, databases, design patterns and understand how to apply them
Ability to travel up to 20%
Experience developing cloud native applications
Experience leading a development or product team
Experience with DoD, especially within a “Software Factory”
Experience building and deploying in a continuous delivery environment
