Software Development Manager – Hybrid – 2 days onsite

Our client leaders in field service solutions are looking for a skilled and committed Software Development Manager to head up one of their growing Development teams. As they continue to expand their operations, they are looking for a dedicated and experienced Development Manager to lead their talented team to new heights!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management, stakeholder management, and the ability to effectively communicate with the wider business on project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of talented developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Stakeholder management, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that project requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Oversee the end-to end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing and deployment.
  • Effectively communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the development team, exploring new technologies and product quality.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership.
  • Experience working within a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Previous hands-on experience with C# or .Net
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends.
