We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer for a contract position with a great client in the beauty space. Join their team to support their eCommerce migration project, focusing on integrations, coding, and connecting data from their ERP system. This position has the potential to scale up in hours.
Our client, s looking for a contract Shopify Developer to join their team for a 9-12 month project. The successful candidate will work closely with the client and their external consulting partner to support the migration process, with a focus on coding, integrations, and connecting data from their custom-built ERP system.
Responsibilities of the Shopify Developer include:
- Collaborating with the client and external consulting partner to ensure a smooth migration to Shopify
- Developing custom integrations, including email integrations and connecting data from their ERP system
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code to enhance the functionality of the Shopify platform
- Ensuring the timely completion of the migration project
- Identifying potential issues and proactively resolving them to avoid delays in the project
- Supporting the scaling up of hours as needed throughout the project's duration
Shopify Developer Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong understanding of the platform's capabilities
- Expertise in coding languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
- Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices and integrations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Experience with ERP systems and data integration
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Flexibility to scale up hours as the project progresses
