Shopify Developer (Contract)
We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer & Technical Lead to take ownership of our client's Shopify division. This contract role involves not only developing and customizing Shopify websites but also acting as the technical face of the department, handling scoping calls, and contributing to sales and project pitches. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background along with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, estimate project scopes, and assist in closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Shopify themes and websites to client specifications
- Serve as the technical lead for scoping calls, providing expertise on Shopify capabilities
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and clients on technical solutions
- Scope projects, provide accurate estimates, and support in pitching and closing deals
- Lead Shopify Plus migrations and optimizations for enterprise-level and mid-sized retailers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Shopify websites, ensuring optimal performance

Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with expertise in theme customization and app integration
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid coding languages
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Shopify Plus
- Excellent communication skills, capable of leading technical discussions and scoping calls
- Ability to estimate project scopes and provide technical insights for sales pitches
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Shopify Developer certification is preferred
