Senior Java Developer, Donegal Hybrid
I am currently hiring several Java Developers on a contract basis initially, to work as part of a large new team who will be responsible for designing, developing and testing applications whilst collaborating with business analysts to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Within this role you will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry standards, work with QA team to ensure that all applications are thoroughly tested, and with with SMEs to understand, prioritize and advise on application focus and rollout.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
What you will need:
- Experience designing, developing and testing Fineos applications within Java and SQL
- Strong knowledge of Fineos Architecture and data model
- Proficient in Fineos programming languages such as FPL, FPK
- Experience with Fineos integrations web services and APIs
- Experience in working with Integrated Disability & Absence Management
- Excellent technical leadership skills with experience in leading and mentoring teams a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
This is a 6-month contract with the view to permanency.
