Job description

As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will be leading engagements focused on cloud security designs, reviews, and assessments across multiple platforms (On-prem, Azure, IBM Cloud, and SaaS environments). You will also lead as the premiere security advisor overseeing projects involving complex security architecture, migration, and strategy. You will develop and design capabilities to meet emerging business and IT requirements in cybersecurity and optimize existing capabilities to ensure quality, consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness. You will work with a highly dynamic team supporting critical infrastructure utilities on an international stage.

Extensive cybersecurity experience is a REQUIREMENT. Candidates must have a demonstrated history in security design frameworks, architectures, and standards. Candidates should be well-versed in understanding frameworks.
  • Lead security architecture requirements and designs in collaboration with other team members and functional areas
  • Consult on and provide security requirements for critical projects and initiatives
  • Define appropriate policies for security solutions
  • Provide findings and recommendations in the following areas: security operations, security engineering, and security architecture
  • Conduct security assessments to identify areas of risk and ensure any gaps are remediated through proper design, planning, implementation, and operational readiness.
  • Conduct security risk assessments, planning, policy reviews, gap analysis, status/progress reports and action plans
  • Guide standardization and implementation of encryption, privilege management, logging, input validation, secure storage design and secure data transfer
Requirements:
  • Experience with implementing and designing leading security solutions, including: CASB, SIEM, CMDB, SD-WAN
  • Cloud security experience, preferably in Azure
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as code (E.g. Terraform, Cloud Formation Templates)
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, IAM roles, Secured Network Architectures, and CIS foundation best practices
  • Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) standards
