We are hiring a Salesforce Developer to work on a new implementation of Government Cloud at one of our clients, a product-based SAAS company.
This is a remote, contract-to-hire opportunity to start in March 2025. This will be paid at an hourly rate of $75-95/h dependent on w2/LLC – later converting to a FTE annual salary of $140-160,000.
Candidates MUST be US-based and eligible, as well as have prior experience building and operating Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level 4 or above cloud service environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing secure, scalable solutions on brand new Salesforce Gov instances, with a focus on Sales, Service and Experience Cloud.
- Collaborating on solution and technical design artifacts and participating in cross-functional review sessions.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense Impact Level 4+ security and regulatory requirements.
- Developing and maintaining integrations with external systems using tools such as MuleSoft
- Partnering with Business Analysts to implement efficient workflows and automation in Sales and Service processes.
- Analyzing business needs to identify inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions.
- Participating in agile development processes to design, test, and deploy new features.
- Managing Salesforce integration with key systems like NetSuite and external data sources.
- Ensuring system stability through proactive maintenance and optimization.
- Experience partnering with and designing solutions for go-to-market and back office teams, ideally, pre, and post-sales, finance and accounting.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex system functionality for the business user.
- Solid experience as a Salesforce developer in Sales, Service & Experience Cloud, Apex and LWC
- Proven experience in designing, configuring and developing on the Salesforce platform with extensive knowledge around communities, integrations and security.
- An understanding of Salesforce Architecture, Limits, Security and out of the box automation tools of the platform
- Integration experience in Integration with other systems and tools like Mulesoft.
- A deep understanding and working knowledge of version control systems (Copado & Git preferred)
- Ability to work with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Knowledge of what Agile development practices and a sprint delivery model
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of CRM software deployment methodologies
- Prior experience building and operating Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level 4 or above cloud service environments
- Eligibility to work in Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level 4 or above cloud service environments
- Salesforce Developer Certification (PD2 current).
- Experience with working on CPQ
- Experience with Copado
