We are hiring a QA Test Lead for an Amazon Connect project with one of our Consulting clients -
This is a remote, US-based contract starting ASAP through to May 2026 initially - part-time 20 hours/week
The Test Lead will own and manage the end-to-end UAT process for Amazon Connect and Salesforce implementations, ensuring the final product
meets all defined business requirements, functional specifications, and quality standards.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong technical-business acumen and the ability to effectively manage client relationships and coordinate complex defect resolution processes.
Responsibilities:
? Strategic Planning & Design: Define the overall Test Strategy Document and
detailed UAT Test Plan. Review and validate requirements and design documents
to ensure they are testable, measurable, and captured in the Traceability Matrix.
? Test Asset Generation: Develop comprehensive UAT Test Scripts/Cases and
detailed test data specifications, often collaborating with client business users for
realism.
? Execution Leadership: Lead the UAT phase, managing the kickoff, daily testing
activities, and directing client testers to ensure adherence to the schedule and
scope.
? Defect Management: Own the defect lifecycle, including setting up tracking tools, triaging, prioritizing, and coordinating resolution with development teams, followed by managing final regression testing.
? Reporting & Sign-off: Provide transparent daily UAT Status Reports and deliver the final Signed-off UAT Completion Report, providing the critical Go/No-Go
Recommendation for Deployment.
? Client Collaboration: Act as the primary interface for UAT, guiding client business user testers in execution, defect logging, and ensuring their formal approval of all test plans and scripts.
? Production Validation: Develop and coordinate the Production Validation Plan
?Smoke Tests) immediately post-go-live, monitoring the system during the
stabilization period.
? Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate the handover of common issues and
troubleshooting knowledge to the client?s support team after deployment.
Required Qualifications:
? 5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance with a minimum of 2 years in a
dedicated Test Lead or Test Manager role, specifically leading UAT for major AWS
and/or Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience
Cloud experience highly desirable).
? Demonstrated expertise in writing comprehensive test plans, detailed test scripts, and test data strategies.
? Proven ability to manage and motivate business user testers, bridging the gap
between technical and business teams.
? Strong analytical skills with an ability to review complex technical and functional
designs and identify testing gaps.
? Expertise in using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure
DevOps, ALM
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise, high-quality status reports for executive stakeholders.
