Project Manager_Freelance
We're seeking two Project Managers (PMs) to bolster our Integration Management Office (IMO). Here's a breakdown of the roles and expectations:
1. Profile 1: Supply Chain & Merchandising PM
- Focus: Supply Chain (Warehousing, Hubs, Operations & Expeditions), Forecasting & Replenishment, Buying (Negotiation Planning & Execution), and Merchandising.
- Possible Expansion: This role might expand to cover a second PM in the future.
2. Profile 2: Business PM
- Focus: Non-Financial Requirements (NFR) Analysis & Negotiation Planning, Store Operations (Maintenance, excluding Permitting), Marketing (NFR focus: cost consolidation for media buying & content distribution channels), and General PM follow-up for all streams. (Ideally with a finance business partnering background).
Expectations:
- Retail Understanding: Basic understanding of retail operations is needed to:
- Recognize how decisions impact other areas.
- Provide constructive challenges (with good intentions).
- Solid Project Management: Proven experience with a focus on achieving results and deliverables. This includes being:
- Proactive
- Business-savvy and credible with stakeholders.
- Able to stop meetings, make decisions, and prioritize efficiency for the project's benefit.
- Organization & Detail-Oriented: This is a large project. Every step, decision, outcome, and follow-up needs documentation within the established framework.
- Tech Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365, including:
- Standard tools like Excel and PowerPoint (presentation skills needed).
- Advanced features like Teams collaboration, Microsoft Lists, and SharePoint.
- Hybrid Work Schedule: Two days in the office with flexibility for a possible third day in certain weeks.
- Positive Traits: Ethical and possess a sense of humor.
Important Notes:
- PMs are not responsible for creating content or making final decisions. Their role is to drive, organize, report, and follow up on the overall Integration Project.
- This is not a typical professional services role. Coordination and management support from an Engagement Manager is not required. However, quality escalations need to be reported to a designated point-of-contact.
