Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong ownership mindset to lead the Platform & Tooling team within a large-scale public administration environment.

This role combines technical authority, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and platform strategy, driving the evolution of internal platforms that power multiple business-critical services.

You will shape modern, scalable, automated, and secure platform capabilities in a complex multi-stakeholder ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Define and evolve platform architecture and internal tooling strategy.

  • Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies; lead Proof-of-Concept initiatives.

  • Establish engineering standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.

  • Oversee delivery of internal platforms, services, and developer tooling.

  • Promote automation, GitOps, and SRE practices across teams.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers and subject matter experts.

  • Drive prioritization, workload structuring, and roadmap execution.

  • Foster innovation, continuous learning, and performance excellence.

  • Align team objectives with strategic organizational goals.

Stakeholder & Service Collaboration

  • Work closely with architects, Service Owners, and cross-functional teams.

  • Translate business and strategic requirements into technical solutions.

  • Drive continuous feedback loops with internal customers.

  • Ensure seamless integration of platform services across domains.

Continuous Improvement

  • Increase automation and self-service capabilities.

  • Improve developer productivity and internal platform adoption.

  • Strengthen reliability, scalability, and observability standards.

Technical Environment

Strong hands-on and architectural experience with:

  • Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes

  • Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure: On-prem & hybrid cloud architectures

  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible

  • GitOps & CI/CD: GitLab, ArgoCD, Cycloid

  • API Design & Integration

  • SRE Practices

  • Virtualization: VMware, Nutanix (or similar)

  • Infrastructure Services: Networking, storage, compute, databases

  • Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace

  • Security & Compliance frameworks

Profile

  • 5+ years experience as Tech Lead (platform/tooling focus)

  • Strong experience in large-scale, complex environments (public administration experience is a plus)

  • Proven team leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to operate in structured, governance-heavy environments

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s is a plus)
