Job description
Stott & May is representing a prominent law firm, in the expansion of their data privacy and cybersecurity practice. The firm is recognized nationally with offices in over 20 US cities, however, this team will work remotely within California.
This role will see you be the first partner within the litigation side of the practice, There is an existing book of work in place, so you will not be required to bring one with you, however, this would be preferable. Existing clients are spread across a range of industries, with a reasonable focus on the insurance and financial services spaces, with the majority of work looking at major class-action suits across the privacy space, alongside MetaPixel and Fraudulent wire transfer cases.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to operate as a Partner in the litigation practice major law firm
- Existing licence to practice law in California
- Extensive knowledge of data privacy and cybersecurity spaces, ideally with formal qualifications
- Desire to join a new practice and be a part of the growth journey
