Optimization Functional Test SME
Start: ASAP
Duration: initial 6-months
Location: Hybrid, 2-3 times per week in Wokingham
Rate: inside IR35
Responsibilities:
- Work with the project team and the customer team on the Dispatch algorithm as part of Balancing Transformation programs
- Support in Quality Assurance and Development of Modern Optimisation Algorithm.
- Coordinate with different functional teams and Business to review and test Scenarios.
- Perform the exploratory test on and find the defects and observation
- Help in the development for requirement tools and automation of testing the algorithm
Skills required:
- Has solid coding skills in Python
- Test Automation skill using Python, Java, Selenium,
- Experience solving the optimization problem using various techniques
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
- Strong Understanding of mathematical programming solver available for your LP, QP and MIP (MILP, MIQP, and MIQCP) problems.
- Understanding of data collection, preprocessing and analysis
- Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Python, Gurobi Optimizer
