MI Data Analyst
Contract Type: Perm
Location: Basingstoke (Hybrid/Flexible)
Salary - £55000 - £65000
My Client is urgently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Data Analyst, with a passion for problem solving, as well as generating and communicating insight based on data. You’ll have delivered great data visualisations using Power BI, using existing sources, as well as working with the wider team to create new ones, to provide powerful insights to the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ever expanding and highly skilled team as they kick-off the journey to completely refresh their data infrastructure and reporting solutions over the next 12 months.
We are looking for a commercially astute data expert that is happy to partner with and present to senior leaders within the organisation. We are looking for an outside the box thinking individual that can bring fresh ideas to our current reporting processes.
Requirements
• Have previous experience working as a Data Analyst / Business Analyst / Systems Analyst / Product Manager in the financial service sector;
• Have experience in partnering with Product teams, Technical teams, and Business leaders to identify solutions and resolutions to problems, to add value to the business;
• Technical expertise in data modelling and data design, including modern data schema design (utilising Kimball methodology);
• Experience with documentation and specification writing;
• Excellent report creation and design skills – and the ability to work closely with the business in definition of complex reports;
• Previous experience designing MI/BI solutions (e.g. PowerBI)
• Advanced SQL experience (SQL Server preferred).
• Strong Communication skills.
