MES Recipe Consultant – Full Time – Remote/Travel (East Coast)

My client who is a Global Leader within the Industrial Automation space is currently looking to on board an MES Recipe Consultant, for what will be a Full Time role.
For this role, individuals are able to work remotely with client travel at approximately 20-30%. The bulk of client sites are located along the East Coast and thus there is a preference for individuals already based in EST/CST, however they are open to considering individuals who are based U.S. wide.
The Role:
- Become familiar with clients’ manufacturing processes and learn standard process steps for primary/secondary manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API), Biopharmaceutical, Medical Devices, and like life sciences manufacturing environments
- Recipe authoring and configuration for master batch records and master batch record templates using client’s MES application
- Become conversant with client-specific application customizations based on project assignments
- Define and analyze functional requirements
- Collaborating with clients for coordination, change management, and application knowledge of recipes
- Directing creation, testing, validation of master recipes and collaboration with other builders/testers, update MBRs & templates using standard quality requirements
- Rigorously adhere to client and internal quality methodologies and procedures
The Candidate:
- 2+ years (approx.) of professional experience producing technical/functional work product
- Prior MES experience not mandatory but is a definite advantage
- Beneficial to have background within the Life sciences/Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Devices industries, but not required
- Knowledge of or willing to learn S88/S95 models (a design philosophy for describing equipment and procedures)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- A high level of motivation, personal engagement, flexibility, and willingness to learn and grow with gained experience
- Ability and willingness to learn the numerous functionalities of MES applications as well as client and life science industry requirements
- A high level of comfort working with advanced computer applications (MES applications)
Salary – $100k-$125k Per Annum + Bonus (8%) + Benefits
