Merchandising Strategy Consultant
Join us as a Merchandising Strategy Consultant to influence retail excellence through a critical short-term project. Work remotely (with potential on-site workshops) and leverage your retail expertise to refine workflows, optimize pricing and promos, and support innovative AI-driven solutions for leading grocery retailers like Albertsons, Kroger, Walmart, and more.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in merchandising, pricing, or retail operations at major grocers
- Deep knowledge of retail planning cycles, promotions, category management, and vendor collaboration
- Strong communication skills to translate operational challenges into product insights
Nice to Have:
- Experience as a merchant or category manager
- Knowledge of retail automation or AI applications
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; 7+ years retail experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Remote role with possible on-site workshops; 6–8 week contract
