The Opportunity
As a Legal Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role at the intersection of legal and credit, focusing on optimizing AI-powered solutions for credit agreements and other complex document workflows. You will be responsible for reimagining current legal processes, helping to build world-class solutions, and defining the future of AI in this specialized field.
We're seeking highly motivated professionals from AmLaw 50 firms with top-20 law school credentials who are comfortable in a fast-growing and ambiguous environment. Key Responsibilities
Domain Expertise: Pioneer workflows addressing the most painful legal practices related to credit and finance
Workflow Engineering: Create and optimize AI-powered workflows through advanced prompt engineering
Customer-centricity: Engage with and support users to maximize value in credit-legal contexts
Product Development: Bring the voice of both lawyers and credit professionals to product and engineering teams, shaping the future of AI applications for specialized use cases
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engagement Managers and other teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of AI solutions
Knowledge Sharing: Democratize learnings across teams and contribute to the development of best practices for credit-legal AI applications
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-20 law school
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience at an AmLaw 50 firm with a robust finance practice
- Extensive experience with drafting, editing, and reviewing complex credit agreements
- Deep experience in credit investing, bankruptcy court cases, leveraged finance, or restructuring
- Proven ability to understand and articulate complex legal terminology
- Strong grasp of AI and its applications in both legal and financial services spaces
- Innate bias towards action and impact, thriving in a nimble and fast-paced environment
