Leader Cyber Security Analyst | Strasbourg | Government | 6 months | €500-€600pd

)A leading European Government Organisation is looking for an experienced Leader Cyber Security Analyst to support its cybersecurity and risk management function. This is a strategic freelance role embedded in a high impact digital transformation programme, supporting secure operations across complex ICT environments.
As part of the internal cybersecurity and risk management team, you will:
Coordinate cybersecurity risk assessments and maintain the central Risk Register
Drive follow-up actions on cybersecurity audits, incidents, and compliance activities
Lead vulnerability management processes across cloud and on-premise systems
Draft and present risk reports, technical recommendations, and stakeholder updates
Support key governance meetings and cross-team security projects
Key Requirements:
4+ years of professional experience in: Cybersecurity engineering, Cloud security and vulnerability management, Secure software development
2+ years in: ICT project management, implementing security frameworks (ISO 2700X, NIST, CIS, etc.), Risk management and action plan execution
Cyber Security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
Risk Management certification (Desirable)
C1 level English, French is a bonus
Strong communicator with a methodical approach and experience in cross-functional collaboration
Stakeholder management
