Leader Cyber Security Analyst | Strasbourg | Government | 6 months | €500-€600pd
Location: Strasbourg
Duration: 6 months (view to extend)
Languages: English (mandatory), French (a plus)
A leading European Government Organisation is looking for an experienced Leader Cyber Security Analyst to support its cybersecurity and risk management function. This is a strategic freelance role embedded in a high impact digital transformation programme, supporting secure operations across complex ICT environments.
As part of the internal cybersecurity and risk management team, you will:
- Coordinate cybersecurity risk assessments and maintain the central Risk Register
- Drive follow-up actions on cybersecurity audits, incidents, and compliance activities
- Lead vulnerability management processes across cloud and on-premise systems
- Draft and present risk reports, technical recommendations, and stakeholder updates
- Support key governance meetings and cross-team security projects
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience in: Cybersecurity engineering, Cloud security and vulnerability management, Secure software development
- 2+ years in: ICT project management, implementing security frameworks (ISO 2700X, NIST, CIS, etc.), Risk management and action plan execution
- Cyber Security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
- Risk Management certification (Desirable)
- C1 level English, French is a bonus
- Strong communicator with a methodical approach and experience in cross-functional collaboration
- Stakeholder management
