Overview
We are representing a nationally recognized law firm seeking to expand its Cybersecurity & Privacy practice with the addition of a Junior Partner focused on Incident Response. This position is fully remote and offers a strong platform for attorneys looking to take the next step in their practice — with the infrastructure, team support, and client flow to meaningfully grow without the demands of business development from day one.
Role & Responsibilities

Serve as the lead point of contact in responding to cybersecurity incidents on behalf of corporate clients, including data breaches, ransomware events, and network intrusions.
-
Oversee associate attorneys, technical vendors, and forensic teams in breach response workflows.
-
Advise clients on state, federal, and international breach notification laws, including GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and NYDFS.
-
Coordinate with cyber insurers, law enforcement, and regulators as necessary.
-
Support client relationships and contribute to thought leadership and practice development.
-
Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure rapid response capability.
Qualifications
-
J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
-
6–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity incident response and data privacy law.
-
Prior law firm experience required; strong preference for attorneys with experience advising on complex breach matters.
-
Familiarity with cyber insurance panel work is a plus.
-
Excellent client management, communication, and leadership skills.
-
Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
What This Platform Offers
-
Steady flow of incident response matters from established cyber insurance panel relationships.
-
A supportive, team-based environment with seasoned partners and associates.
-
Full remote flexibility with robust administrative and technical support.
-
Opportunity to grow your leadership role and carve out a niche within a top-tier cybersecurity legal team.
