Java DevOps Development Engineer
Location: Luxembourg (On-site, full-time)
Contract Duration: Until 31 August 2026
Daily Rate: €520/day
Overview
We are seeking three an experienced Java DevOps Development Engineers to support ongoing software development and transformation initiatives. The successful candidates will act as Enablers, assisting application teams in accelerating transitions and migrations related to standards, tools, technologies, and services within a mature DevOps and evolving DevSecOps environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support application teams during technology, tooling, and standards migrations.

Develop and maintain Java/JavaScript applications.

Enhance and automate DevSecOps pipelines and practices.

Fix code quality and security issues identified by tools such as SonarQube and AppScan.

Participate in regular meetings and report progress via Jira and ServiceNow.

Produce technical documentation in English following customer templates.

Conduct research, proof of concepts, and promote standard technologies.

Audit applications for compliance with defined standards.

Support and advise development teams, including providing training where needed.
Required Expertise and Skills

Strong experience in Java and JavaScript development.

Proficiency in DevSecOps concepts, tools, and automation.

Experience with SonarQube and AppScan.

Proficient with Spring Boot, GitOps, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, and JUnit.

Familiarity with AWS cloud-native applications (an advantage).

Flexible, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects.

Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Affinity for Agile methodologies and collaborative work environments.
Professional Experience
-
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Java/JEE web development.

Experience supporting development teams and technical transitions.

Experience delivering proof of concepts and promoting standard technologies.

Ability to audit applications for compliance with technology standards.

Knowledge of CMS, portals, content management, and IDEs.

Excellent command of English (C level). French is an asset.
Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
