IT Infrastructure System Administrator
Location: Brussels, Belgium
On-site Presence: 3 days per week

Job Description:
We are seeking an IT Infrastructure System Administrator for a challenging role based in Brussels, Belgium. In this position, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of specific infrastructure used for internal needs, with a focus on aligning with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain specific infrastructure used for internal needs, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Configure DNS servers for servers hosted locally or in the cloud.
- Install new servers and services as needed for operational purposes.
- Manage backup and restore procedures for both local and cloud-based servers.
- Administer and maintain local ticketing and collaborative tools such as osTicket, Jira, and TFS.
- Provide general IT support for issues not addressed by EUSS (infrastructure and software-related).
- Collaborate with ITIC for incident and request resolution, particularly for VIP users and user complaints.
- Assist with daily tasks for the official IRM.
- Support the procurement and maintenance of IT equipment and services, offering recommendations for technical solutions.
- Contribute to procedure documentation and best practices for patch management, virus management, and operating system upgrades for servers not covered by EUSS.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Assist colleagues in effectively using collaborative tools like wikis, SharePoint, Teams, and Connected.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in ICT or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience (traineeships count as experience).
- Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure, and experience with ITIC LSA is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting solutions such as Azure and AWS.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows (Windows Server 2016) and Linux (Cent OS/Red Hat) Server OS.
- Strong understanding of IT networks, including LAN, Smoothwall firewall, reverse proxy, etc.
- Proficiency in virtualization tools like VMWare ESXI, vCenter, vSphere.
- Scripting skills in languages like vbscript, PowerShell, and bash.
- Experience with Oracle DB, SQL, and MariaDB.
- Strong spoken and written proficiency in English and French (minimum B2 level).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in telework and web conferencing tools (Pulse Secure, VPN, Skype, Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.).
- Experience with ticketing systems, particularly HP Service Center, osTicket, and Jira.
