My client who is a leader in the Automotive Manufacturing space is currently looking to on board an experienced I.T. Infrastructure Project Manager. The role will be based in Normal, IL and this is for an initial 6-Month contract with extensions to follow.
Please note, this role will see you working on site in Normal, IL with some remote flexibility offered. Those based locally already are thus viewed as a first preference.

The Role:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create an Infrastructure & Manufacturing Systems project plan with critical path milestones for deliverables and align this plan with the plans of business and vendor stakeholders.
- Ensure all requirements are captured accurately for Infrastructure & Manufacturing Systems subject matter experts.
- Provide updates on the Infrastructure & Manufacturing Systems portions of projects/programs to your subject matter experts, business stakeholders & Infrastructure & Manufacturing Systems sponsors via the KPIs for the project/program & the IT Infrastructure PMO via predefined KPIs.
- Deliver the Infrastructure & Manufacturing Systems portions of the projects/programs on time & within budget.
The Candidate:
- Experience leading the implementation and refreshes of enterprise infrastructure network service solutions (IE: Multi-site connectivity, Data Centers, WiFi, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
- Experience leading the implementation and refreshes of enterprise infrastructure server, data, and backup solutions (IE: Data Centers, NAS, Backup, DR, Server Patching, Active Directory, Server OS Upgrades, etc.)
- Experience in managing complex cross functional projects, programs, and emergency initiatives
- Clear Communication with Stakeholders - The ability to create project documentation quickly and efficiently for all stakeholders. The discipline to communicate via the appropriate methods that will make the biggest impact for your desired outcome. Pulling together resources as appropriate. The ability to align stakeholders to a project's elements (e.g. time, budget, scope) in a concrete and concise manner
- Open Communication with Leaders - The self-awareness to reach out to subject matter experts and their leaders when projects require more skills or effort than can be provided. A willingness to collaborate and proactively communicate with other team members that may be able to assist.
- IT Management Competency - Experience with ITIL frameworks desired
